Apparently I am pretty late on discovering this new amazing type of video. My much more savvy peer’s at Drexel University have pointed that out. YouTube now has this amazing new feature called 360 Video. The name explains itself.  They are videos shot with a spherical camera that users can view and pan around in. You can find a whole channel dedicated to it called #360 Video. Some of them are live action. Others are virtual. My favorite is FOALS’ Mountain At My Gates music video. It is actually 100x’s better if you move around the whole time. A video’s cinematography improved by user participation? Now, that’s awesome. Check out FOALS music video below.

A close second for me is the Star Wars - 360 VR video. Maybe you’ll nerd out a little bit when watching.
